Calling all homebrewers!
Exploring Homebrew is back for its 5th annual homebrew competition and WE WANT YOU to be a part of it! We welcome brewers from all levels of expertise—beginner to advanced. You simply bring the beer, and we’ll bring thirsty people to drink it!
This year we’re aiming to make the event bigger and better, and that starts with homebrewers like you! Exploring Homebrew is Nashville’s only festival celebrating the art, craft and taste of homebrewed beer. The best part? It’s for a good cause! All proceeds go to Explore! Community School, here in Nashville, Tenn.
Here’s how it works.
- Register yourself and your brew here. We have room for 20 homebrewers.
- Brew your beer and have it ready to serve by May 15 — the day of the event. You must bring at least one keg of beer to share. We provide a space with a table, chair and ice to keep your beer cold.
- Folks who have purchased a ticket to the event get a free 3 oz. tasting glass and unlimited samples beer. As a participating homebrewer, you’ll pour samples of your brew for these ticket holders throughout the night, and they will eventually vote for their three favorite brews.
- At the end of the night, we tally up votes and declare winners for Best In Show, First Runner-Up, Second Runner-Up and Best Brew Club.
This year’s Exploring Homebrew festival is Friday, May 15, from 7-10 p.m. at the American Legion Post 82 in East Nashville. Our event grows every year. We expect to sell close to 200 tickets this year and may very well sell out.
Please consider signing up as a brewer for this year’s event. Further details will be provided after registration. If you are interested in signing up as a homebrewer, please register here. If you have any questions, please contact Aron or Keith.
